The New York City Department of Correction makes available public records concerning inmates housed in the Department’s jail population. The website is http://a072-web.nyc.gov/inmatelookup/
You can search inmates by first name and last name, inmate number, or date of birth. After your search, click on the record to view the inmate information. New York City will provide the inmate’s jail location, booking information, arrest date, release date, bail and bond information, information on the charges against the inmate, court docket information, and a photo if available. New York City also provides the sex, age, race, height, weight, hair color, and eye color of the inmate.
