To increase safety and awareness, most sex offenders have to be registered in a public registry and it is public information available to everyone. This article describes how to search for sex offenders in the state of Washington.
Search the state of Washington public sex offender registry at the Washington State Sex Offender Information Center public website at http://ml.waspc.org/
Search for sex offenders by county, city, zip code, or street. Type in the area you are interested in press Go.
A list of names of sex offenders in the area will appear along with a map.
Click on each sex offender to see more detailed information such as the name, address, age, and photo of the sex offender. Also, the level of the sex offense is displayed.
· The sex offender information is public information and is a way for the public to be aware of their community and community safety.
