How to Paint a Baby’s Room

Painting your baby’s room before his or her arrival is a fun yet stressful task. Follow the steps below to successfully paint your baby’s room with a limited budget.

Go to Sherwin Williams or a similar paint store. Be sure to match your baby’s bedding with the base color for your wall. Buy the color you would like your baby’s room to be.

Paint the walls, or hire a painter to paint the walls with the color you selected. Next, match other colors from your baby’s bedding or material to other paint colors. Buy the sample size paints of these colors.

Use the sample size paints to paint a border of stars, flowers, animals, or anything else you want to paint in the room. You can make a border around the ceiling, or make the objects you paint as overhangs to doorways and the closet.

You can use a stencil to help you if you are not an artistic type.
