Follow the steps below to access court records in Franklin County, Ohio through the county’s Case Information Online (“CIO”) system.

First, access the Frankin County, Ohio CIO  at http://fcdcfcjs.co.franklin.oh.us/CaseInformationOnline/  and then click “accept” to accept the terms of services and disclaimer in order to access the court records.

You can search civil and criminal court information from the general division of the court of common pleas and the domestic relations division of the court of common pleas.

You can search by first name, last name or middle initial of a party. You can also select the type of proceeding, either civil, criminal appeal, or domestic.

After typing in your search terms, click on search to see the case listing responsive to the search.  This will provide the case number, name and style of the case, a description of the case, as well as the date it was filed and current status, such as whether it is closed or active.

Click on the link on the case number to view the history of the case in Franklin County, Ohio. This will show you the docket history of the case, which includes the history of all motions, hearings, court rulings or orders.   It will also provide the names of the attorneys representing the parties, the judge, and the assigned courtroom.
